Welcome
Marlborough Area Development Trust is a non-profit-making voluntary organisation. Our aims are simply put; to strike a balance between economic, social and environmental issues affecting the Marlborough Community Area and ensure that it is a vibrant, successful and pleasant place to live, work and visit; both now and in the future.
We are not only concerned with Marlborough but with all 26 parishes which go to make up the Marlborough Community Area. This stretches from Avebury and the Winterbournes in the West to Shalbourne and Ham in the East; Broad Hinton and Baydon in the North to Burbage and Grafton in the South.
Established in 2000 we help deliver the Community Area Plan, working with the Marlborough Community Area Strategic Partnership (MCASP) in moving forward with the next phase; ensuring that the targets and headline issues identified in the plan are being addressed and delivered.
MADT has an Action Plan which derives from the Community Area Plan and MCASP with actions addressing current local issues. We do not cover just one area or issue but rather a broad cross-section of concerns, groups and people through our projects and areas of special interest. We also try to take an overview of everything that's going on and plug the gaps!
Membership of MADT is FREE!
And WE NEED YOU!
